Mister McNeely, a school system staff member, told the committee the revised budget had been presented at the prior meeting and that he had “not received any questions,” and asked for a motion to approve. Mister Westmoreland moved to adopt the revised budget; Mister Toler seconded. Miss Cindy, the committee clerk, opened and closed the electronic vote and the motion passed unanimously.
The committee did not receive public comment on the item during the meeting. Committee Chair confirmed a quorum before taking up the agenda and moved on to other items after the vote.
No statutes or ordinances were cited during the budget discussion. The action recorded in the meeting minutes was a formal adoption of the revised 2024-25 budget by unanimous vote.
