Hearing Officer Renee Varela Gutierrez said July 24 that final approval of a request to transfer Dispenser Liquor License DIS-001027 to a Santa Fe address will be contingent on the applicant obtaining necessary permits, completing construction and obtaining a City of Santa Fe business license, and that she will forward a written report to the governing body for consideration.
The matter concerned a transfer of location for Dispenser Liquor License DIS-001027 from 614 Trinity Drive, Los Alamos, to 730 Saint Michael's Drive, Unit 3F, Santa Fe, to operate as Farafina LLC with patio service. Applicant Patrick Mokler Wood testified under oath and confirmed he had no additional information to add at the hearing.
Gutierrez said, "It appears that everything seems to be in order. There will be a couple of conditions placed on your application as it moves forward." She listed that final approval would be dependent on the applicant obtaining required permits, completing construction, and securing a City of Santa Fe business license. Mokler Wood responded, "Oh, definitely," when asked if those conditions were acceptable.
No written public comments were received and there was no one waiting in the meeting room to speak, the clerk reported. The hearing officer said she would prepare a written hearing officer report with findings and conclusions that will include the conditions and submit it to the City of Santa Fe; the governing body will make the final decision.
The hearing record shows no vote or final action at the July 24 hearing; the transfer remains subject to the conditions Gutierrez described and any subsequent action by the governing body.
