Odessa council approves MOU with Midland Habitat for Humanity to identify city land for housing development

Jeff Myers, identified in the meeting as attending from the audience, was noted by staff as present; no public opposition or additional speakers spoke during the three-minute public-hearing period. A council member moved to approve the MOU and seconds were recorded by Councilman Stoker and Councilman Vasquez. The motion passed unanimously.
Staff did not present specific parcels in the public presentation; subsequent site selection and any conveyance or lease terms will depend on the due-diligence findings and any future council actions.
