Council members approved the June 2025 financial report after Finance Officer Elaine reviewed major June expenditures and noted proceeds from a surplus-property sale. Elaine told the council the golf course purchased a deep-tine aerator for $36,890; sanitary sewer replacement work to Musson Brothers was $35,031; a Seventh Street utility extension to First Rate Excavation was $121,004.96; a clubhouse patio addition payment to Gil Haugen Construction was $63,305; Merle and Roy paving completed a new ballfield parking lot including asphalt, striping and signage for $136,731; and fire-extinguisher service cost $2,930. She also noted the city partnered with Purple Wave to sell surplus property, returning about $28,000 to the general fund. Councilmembers moved and seconded approval of the June financial report and approved it by voice vote. Elaine said staff would investigate an outstanding bank transaction that appeared on the report and reissue checks as needed. No roll-call tallies were recorded in the meeting transcript; the mayor announced the motion carried.
