DRC reviews minor Wild Oaks infrastructure revision; engineers asked for drainage basin calculations

City staff presented a revision to the approved infrastructure construction site plan for Wild Oaks during the July 23 Development Review Committee meeting, and described the change as primarily related to stormwater drainage areas. "The proposed revision really just has to do with stormwater as I understand it. They had to revise the drainage area," said Jean, Community Development project manager. Engineering staff said they had posted comments and requested drainage‑basin mapping and calculations to verify the revised outfall and basin sizing. An engineer on the committee said the revision appears minor but that without a clear drainage basin map it is not possible to confirm the hydrologic calculations. "Without a good drainage basin map... you can not figure the calculations out," the engineering reviewer said, and said they would follow up with the applicant's engineer and reissue a comment letter if needed. No applicant representative appeared for the item; Public Works, Police and Fire reported no outstanding comments at the meeting. The DRC treated the submission as a minor revision to an already approved plan and asked the applicant to provide the drainage exhibits and coordinate with engineering staff for final clearance.
