Glynn County introduces new communications director; county website to relaunch this summer

Britney Dozier, Glynn County’s new communications director, told Good News Glenn she joined the county after seven-and-a-half years as the public relations specialist for Glynn County Schools and that she is leading a planned county website relaunch this summer.
“I handled all communications for the district and for all schools,” Dozier said of her prior role. She added the new county website will be ready “by the end of the summer,” though she gave no specific launch date on the broadcast.
Dozier said she aims to expand public outreach, improve transparency and make county communications “accessible.” She cited prior experience as a reporter for The Brunswick News and work at College of Coastal Georgia as part of her communications background.
The county manager, Bill Fallon, introduced Dozier on the program and said she will assist with the county’s transparency efforts. No formal materials, screenshots or a launch calendar were provided on-air; Dozier said county staff are finishing the site and would publish details when available.
