Council approves budget increase to fund Yellowstone Drive water main extension

Baritz said TIF 12 had only $40,000 budgeted for the extension, leaving a shortfall of $118,190.70. He asked the council to approve a budget resolution to advance up to $120,000 from the economic development fund to TIF 12 to close the gap. Alderman Dela moved the resolution and Alderman Moran seconded; the council voted to approve the motion. The resolution authorizes an advance from the economic development fund to cover the project's increased cost and allows the project to proceed given the single bid and required upsizing.
