Board approves partnerships with Harris County Juvenile Board, Region 4 and Houston health partners

PASADENA, Texas — The Pasadena Independent School District board on July 22 approved multiple interagency partnerships and shared‑service agreements intended to expand student supports and operational collaboration.

During the consent and action agenda, trustees unanimously approved a memorandum of understanding with the Harris County Juvenile Board, a revised shared‑services arrangement with the Region 4 Regional Day School Program for the Deaf, a partnership with the Houston Health Department to implement the C2 Succeed program, and a partnership agreement with Houston Methodist for the 2025–26 school year.

Board members moved and seconded each item during the meeting’s consent agenda and took voice votes on each approval. The superintendent’s office and district staff did not provide detailed funding breakdowns in the board discussion; however, staff noted these arrangements are intended to support students through direct services, shared staffing and programmatic coordination.
