The Palmyra Borough Council approved road closures necessary to assemble and conduct the Palmyra holiday parade on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, with closures from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the parade beginning at 11 a.m.
The approved parade route will line up at the intersection of West Cherry and South Mark, proceed past the Palmyra Bridal School on West Cherry Street, continue east on East Cherry, north on South Green, west on East Main, south on South Locust and disband at Palmyra Middle School. Councilor-level discussion produced no objections and the motion received a second and a voice vote approving the closures.
Why it matters: the approval authorizes street closures and municipal support for staging and safety during the community parade on Nov. 15. The motion was passed by voice vote at the meeting; no roll-call tally was recorded in the minutes.
