MidAmerican Energy says turbine-component offload for Page County project planned for August

A MidAmerican Energy representative identified only as John told the meeting that foundation-concrete work is underway and that the company was preparing to begin turbine-component offload in the county in August.
John said foundation concrete pouring in Page County is “really into the thick” and that work in a neighboring area was nearly complete, allowing crews to focus on Page County. “As of right now, yeah, that August is when we'd be looking at turbine component offloading,” he said. He added that the schedule could shift because of weather or other delays and that he would provide updates if the timeline changed.
No permits, road-use agreements or offload locations were described at the meeting and no formal county approval or vote on the project was recorded.
