The City Commission approved multiple procurement actions to maintain the city’s facilities and vehicle fleet, awarding primary and secondary contracts for HVAC preventive maintenance at municipal buildings and parks, extending elevator maintenance agreements and approving primary fleet maintenance contracts.
Staff explained the awards stem from Invitation to Bid 250601 and associated procurement processes. Contracts were awarded to different primary and secondary vendors for groups of facilities: government center, fleet building, building department modular offices, and several parks including Gateway Park, Pelican Community Park, Public Works compound, The Spot, Heritage Park and Town Center Park meditation garden. The commission also approved a first amendment to the elevator service agreement for Gateway Center with Kony Inc. and a primary award to Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for group 1 fleet vehicle maintenance.
There were no public speakers on these items, commissioners asked routine questions and then voted to approve by voice. Staff said the awards will maintain preventive maintenance coverage across city buildings and parks and ensure fleet readiness.
The commission approved the procurement resolutions by voice vote; staff will complete contract execution and return forms as necessary for administrative records.
