Assistant Attorney General Catherine Gitz and State Police investigator Glenn Barrett briefed the board on a completed membership-transfer transaction affecting Jester’s Junction Casino and Truckstop, a Type 5 video draw poker licensee located in Saint James Parish. The change transfers a previously held 50% membership interest from 97 Rentals LLC to Maracai Holdings LLC.
Gitz told the board that 97 Rentals LLC — previously owned by Kent Bonvillain and Jennifer Wyman Bonvillain — transferred its 50% interest on June 1, 2023, to Maracai Holdings LLC, of which Kent Bonvillain is the sole member. As a result the licensee’s membership interest distribution now stands at Maracai Holdings LLC 50%, G3 Rentals LLC 25%, and Dell Group LLC 25%.
Investigator Glenn Barrett reported he conducted an updated suitability check and “found no information to preclude the licensee or its members from continuing to participate in the Louisiana gaming industry.” The board heard no questions and approved the transfer by motion (moved by Miss Becknell, seconded by Miss Traylor) with no recorded opposition.
The board record shows the transfer was accepted and the licensee may continue operating under the revised ownership structure.
