The Auburn City Council announced appointments and reappointments to two advisory bodies during the Committee of the Whole on July 22.

Jamie Brady was reappointed to a second full term on the Green Space Advisory Board, and John Whitworth was appointed to a full term on the same board, the mayors minutes said. The council thanked Art Chapellka for his service to the Green Space Advisory Board.

The minutes also recorded the appointment of Vanessa Echols and Jennifer Lovern to the Auburn Planning Commission and the councils thanks to Wendy Birmingham and David Wisdom, who resigned from the commission.

The minutes encouraged citizens who applied for commission seats to continue seeking opportunities to serve the city. No vote tallies, appointment ordinances, or term lengths were specified in the minutes.
