MUNCIE โ The Muncie Board of Public Works and Safety approved a residential handicap parking space for Anthony Small, who requested a sign outside his home at 3307 East Thirteenth Street. Small told the board he is sometimes blocked from parking by multiple neighbors and said he needs the space for mobility reasons.
"I'm trying to get me a handicap sign because I have some neighbors that moved in. There's 6 of them and 6 of them drive," Small said during the June 6 meeting. The board described the request as reasonable, moved to approve and voted in favor.
No conditions or appeals were announced during the meeting.
