Muncie Board approves $718,849 register of claims

The Muncie Board of Public Works and Safety voted to approve the register of claims totaling $718,849 at its June 18 meeting.

City Controller Craig Wright presented the register and told the board he had "sent out the claims yesterday afternoon," noting the list included routine items such as utilities and health-care payments and specific clinic workplace services bills. After a motion to approve, board members voted by voice; the chair called the motion carried.

The approval covers routine operating payments the controller identified in the packet. Board members did not request further itemized review during the meeting. No additional documents or conditions were attached to the vote.

City Controller Craig Wright will proceed with processing the approved claims as routine city expenditures.
