The Benton County Board of Supervisors accepted the resignation of sheriff's office dispatcher Paige Rambo, with her last day set for July 27, and approved a request from Rambo to donate her remaining sick leave to another sheriff's office employee.

A supervisor moved to accept the resignation and the board voted in favor. Staff confirmed there was a written donation request on file designating the recipient as Bonnie Ehlinger; the board formally approved the transfer of sick time per county policy.

Separately, supervisors filled a vacancy on the Civil Service Commission created by the resignation of Jennifer Serapnick. The board appointed Amy Van Weltchel to the commission and recorded the votes in favor by the supervisors present.

These personnel items were approved by recorded votes; no additional policy changes were made.
