The Waukee City Council approved revised building elevations for Lot 2 of Waukeetown Center Plat 2 at 980 Southeast Laurel Street. City planning staff presented the revised elevations and recommended approval.
Staff member Melissa told the council the developer, Waukeetown Center LLC, submitted revised elevations that use many of the same materials as previously approved but oriented differently and with different colors to accommodate tenant preferences. "The revised elevations are proposed to be constructed mostly of brick, composite panels, concrete masonry unit, EIFS, precast concrete wall panels, stone, and storefront system," Melissa said.
Staff recommended approval of the revised site plan for building elevations and the council voted to approve the resolution. Melissa said multiple prior site plans had been approved for the larger site and that these revisions reflect tenant-driven changes to façade orientation and materials. The council did not identify specific tenants during the vote; staff confirmed the trash enclosures will be behind buildings and landscaping and parking requirements are met.
