Commissioner Laird and Lieutenant LaVere both said they had concerns about potential noise impacts on an elderly building across the street: "So as long as you guys maintain your order and there's no issues, then, you know, good luck to you guys," LaVere said.
Commissioners moved and seconded to approve the patio extension, and the motion passed unanimously. Board members said that should complaints about noise or disturbances arise, enforcement actions could follow. The board did not attach additional conditions but noted that complaints from neighbors would trigger enforcement review.
The approval allows the applicant to operate the patio under the stated hours; the board advised prompt attention to complaints from neighboring properties and reminded the applicant to follow the posted permit rules.
