The board approved a consulting agreement with Community Development Partners to assist the city in administering a Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) revolving funds program. City staff said the consulting agreement is required to supplement administration of the grant; the item was moved and seconded and, because funds are involved, the board took a roll call vote. The roll call recorded affirmative votes and the motion passed. Mayor Fitzhugh and aldermen noted that the contract will be paid from the grant and that the agreement enables the city to participate in the program.
