The work will be performed overnight, generally between approximately 9 p.m. and 5–6 a.m., consistent with previous downtown paving operations.
The board asked about follow‑up steps including striping and the schedule to install decorative crosswalks. Public‑works staff said striping will follow a one‑week cure period after paving and that the town has reached out to the subcontractor who installed decorative crosswalks on the library plaza to schedule the stamped crosswalk work during the same construction season.
The contract award is funded from the town’s pavement management program.
