Round Lake Beach approves consolidation of three lots at 306 East Lake Park Avenue

The Village of Round Lake Beach Board of Trustees on July 21 approved a plat of consolidation for property commonly known as 306 East Lake Park Avenue, allowing three previously separate lots to be consolidated into a single parcel.
Economic Development Director Gail Rivera said the village offered the land for sale months earlier and that part of the purchase terms required consolidation of the lots. The consolidated parcel will allow construction of a single residence, she said. The Planning and Zoning Commission had reviewed and recommended approval of the plat.
Trustee Husk moved to approve the plat and Trustee Stout seconded. The board approved the measure by roll call; recorded ayes included Trustee Barra, Trustee Stout, Trustee Husk, Trustee Valadez and Acting Chair Davis.
Why it matters: Consolidation changes lot configuration and enables residential development consistent with the buyer’s purchase conditions.
