Recreation director resigns; council says DCNR grant not jeopardized, searches to follow

Council members asked for timely notification and documents related to the resignation and raised personnel questions about vacation accrual and coverage; staff said those personnel matters would be handled through the recreation board and in accordance with the inter-municipal agreements that govern the shared position. No formal council action was taken at the meeting beyond direction to proceed with recruitment and DCNR coordination.
