Public works schedules Oshkosh Street reconstruction bids, assessment hearing set for Feb. 19

Public informational meeting for the project is scheduled for Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Washington Center, Garcia said. The director said the project has attracted substantial contractor interest and that mailed packets will include assessment estimates and details for the affected properties.
The director also reported outreach to specific properties regarding required tree and landscaping removals in public right-of-way for the sewer, water and road construction project. Bidding for the overall project is to follow the information and public hearing schedule noted above.
No contract award or final assessment amounts were recorded at the meeting; the announcement is a procurement and public-notice step ahead of formal award.
