The Harbor Management Commission recommended July 22 that the coastal area management application to repair a flood and erosion control seawall and a deck at 10 Nathan Hale Drive be found consistent with the harbor plan. Applicant representative Tom (last name not specified) said the project is the same repair proposal the commission reviewed previously and that DEEP had already provided substantive comments during permit review; the application to DEEP and related Army Corps permitting were in process. Commissioners noted the harbor plan supports "timely repair and maintenance of existing shoreline structures necessary to protect existing development," and the commission moved and approved the consistency finding with standard construction conditions.
