He said contractors would not relocate bats during that period. Squatieri asked for a time extension; the magistrate extended the compliance window to Oct. 21, 2025 (90 days), and ordered the respondent to contact code compliance when repairs are complete. The city recommended 30 days or a $25-per-day fine, but the magistrate allowed more time to accommodate wildlife-protection constraints.
