Supervisor Barnett moved to proceed with the project and to amend the budget to appropriate $75,000 to account code 1101470015 (board supervisors’ furniture/fixtures); Supervisor Lawson seconded the motion. The chair called for a roll call vote.
Board members asked clarifying questions about the vendor’s prior work with local staff and the ability to livestream proceedings directly to the county YouTube channel. Staff said county personnel (Mr. Hankins and Mr. Patrick) had previously worked with the vendor and that the new system would provide direct streaming capability.
If approved and scheduled, staff estimated installation would take about a week after equipment arrival. The board did not receive public comment on the AV item during the discussion recorded in the transcript.
