Erlanger Reports 2024–25 Capital Projects Complete; Parks Work Held Over, Beautification Meeting Set

City Administrator Glenn reported to the Erlanger City Council on July 1 that capital projects tied to the 2024–25 budget season were completed as of the previous day, with a few park projects carried over to the next fiscal year.

Glenn said all street and major capital improvements for the 2024–25 budget season were finished "as of yesterday." He added that a couple of park projects were held over until next year and will be discussed at the Parks Task Force meeting scheduled the following week. Councilmember Miss Nisley reminded members that the Beautification Committee will meet July 15 before caucus between 5 and 6 p.m. in the small council chambers.

Mayor Feddy also reported briefly that the city’s summer event, City Night Out, held the same evening had its best attendance to date; he thanked staff and volunteers for organizing and said the location—near Kroger—was effective for engaging residents exiting the store.
