Public commenters urge statutory naming and warn of sewer constraints in draft comprehensive plan

Thomas Baez, president of the Glasgow Sanitary District, told trustees the draft plan proposes a commercial area near “64 in Burlington” but warned the sanitary district lacks adequate spray disposal capacity to support new commercial development. "We have water capacity, but we do not have the spray capacity," Baez said. He said an engineering recommendation called for about 47 additional acres of spray capacity to serve future development.
