City staff backs UNDC plan to build up to eight moderate‑cost homes in Summit Lake

The department said the work would be funded using program income from the Neighborhood Stabilization Fund in the amount of $587,800 and that the city has a long relationship with UNDC, which it said has built hundreds of houses since the 1980s.

The committee recommended moving this item to the consent agenda; no objections were recorded. Staff said construction is planned within the next two years and that UNDC will continue acting as developer and seller under an agreement with the city.
