At its June 29 meeting the Village of Lakemore Council approved routine finance items and enacted changes to the village’s 2025 budget.
The council voted to accept purchase orders dated July 4–18, 2025, totaling $116,952.28 and to pay bills dated July 4–18, 2025, totaling $324,424.67. Council also accepted the May 2025 bank reconciliation as presented.
Separately, the council adopted Resolution No. 7481‑2025 to amend a prior authorization for the village’s 2024 audit with Charles E. Harris and Associates, approving an estimated increase in audit costs of $2,450 and attaching a modification agreement to the record.
The council also adopted Ordinance No. 18‑98‑2025 to amend previously approved appropriations for the fiscal year ending Dec. 31, 2025. Among items listed in the ordinance were an increase of $38,150 in the general fund for park expenses, $25,700 added to the nuisance abatement fund for property‑related work, and $6,300 in the parks and recreation donation fund to cover summer program expenses. The ordinance approves a transfer of $25,700 from the general fund to the nuisance abatement fund and declares the measure an emergency for immediate effect.
All motions and measures on these financial items were adopted by roll call during the meeting record. The transcript does not include supplemental budget detail beyond the language read into the ordinance.
