The Boone County Drainage Board on July 21 approved the Bridal Oak South Phase 2 multi‑tenant building project, a roughly one‑acre commercial parcel adjacent to Walker Farms, subject to final review and approval by the Surveyor’s Office and Burke Engineering.
Carrie Daley of Christopher Burke Engineering summarized the project’s drainage plan: on‑site underground detention with additional detention to meet ordinance standards, and discharge into existing storm sewer along Albert White Drive that routes to a Walker Farm detention pond. Staff said they had reviewed construction plans and stormwater calculations and that outstanding survey items must be submitted before final signoff.
The board voted to approve the site conditional on final plan corrections and surveyor office signoff. No public comment was recorded on the item during the meeting.
