The commissioners approved addendum number 2 July 22 with All Pro Fleet Services LLC to provide vehicle maintenance for the county's business and paratransit fleets at unchanged rates. The addendum covers Aug. 1, 2025 through July 31, 2026, county transportation staff said.
Why it matters. The nut graf: county transportation officials said maintaining an experienced local fleet vendor at stable rates helps the county manage vehicles obtained from partners (including Penn State) and support public transit and paratransit operations.
Vendor relationship and Penn State vehicle transfers. Transportation director Dave Lomison said the vendor has agreed to keep labor rates unchanged and praised its operational support, including pickup and delivery of vehicles for service. Lomison told commissioners that over his tenure the county has transferred many vehicles from Penn State into the county fleet and that those vehicles are inspected and serviced at the county garage before deployment.
Bellefonte partnership update. Lomison reported early results of the Belfonte borough-sponsored transit partnership: in the first 13 working days of July the county performed 64 trips tied to the Bellefonte sponsorship, averaging about five additional sponsored trips per day. Staff said Bellefonte currently owes the county roughly $1,200 for the initial service period and that the borough was pleased with the start of the program. Staff intends to provide ongoing usage reporting including trip purpose (work or groceries) in the next monthly update.
Board action. A motion to approve the All Pro Fleet addendum carried by voice vote. Commissioners praised the vendor relationship and said coordination with partners such as Penn State benefits county operations.
