The committee noted that the grant funds “must be spent by the end of the year,” and members voted to call the ordinance for consideration.
Both items were presented to the Finance committee for one reading with emergency wording requested. Committee members did not adopt the final appropriation ordinances on the floor at the meeting; they were called for legislative consideration and referred to the appropriate readings.
