Commissioners voted July 22 to add a contract addendum with Massaro Construction Management Services LLC and related items for the Community Services Building (CSB) to next week's consent agenda. County staff said change orders and county-driven additions required four extra months of construction-phase services at a cost of $110,516, extending the team through November 2025.

Staff said the extension would cover additional work discovered after opening walls, county-requested additions and coordination tied to an incoming tenant.

Related contracts and purchases. Risk management staff presented a three-year vending contract with Servimation (to cover the courthouse, courthouse annex and the new CSB) that commissioners approved; staff said a micro-market will be installed in the new CSB. Staff also requested and obtained approval to add a purchase of commercial cleaning equipment to next week's consent agenda: the equipment package was listed at $7,085.79 and staff said it had been budgeted.

Timing and occupancy. County staff said crews continue to target occupancy for August 1 for parts of the facility, while some additional work (parking and other items) will run later and contributed to the requested management extension. Commissioners emphasized construction management is necessary because county staff cannot be on site full time while maintaining other county operations.

Next steps. The addendum and the equipment and vending contracts were moved to the consent agenda for formal approval next week; no final construction completion date beyond the extension window was approved at the July 22 meeting.
