Lewis County commissioners approved an amendment on July 22 to extend the timeline for Antiquity Consulting s the county completes closeout work on the Windlock broadband project.
Grace Menes, chief accountant, described the amendment as a short timeline extension intended to allow consultants to finalize construction-closeout tasks. The amendment was listed as resolution 25-213 and was approved by the board as part of a package of deliberation items (25-207 through 25-213) by a 3-0 vote.
County staff said the amendment was administrative and intended to close out construction responsibilities; the county did not announce additional funding or a change in project scope at the July 22 meeting. Staff also said a later final accounting and record closure would follow once outstanding tasks are complete.
The commissioners approved the amendment without further discussion on the record; county staff will handle the consultant closeout tasks under the amended timeline.
