Council members were told that the applicant previously received approval for two additional storage buildings, but the city required earlier conditional‑use permits to be amended and brought into compliance before renting the new units.
City staff said neighbors attended the Plan Commission site visit and staff worked with the applicant to consolidate fees for the two amendment applications. The public hearing will give neighbors and other interested parties the opportunity to comment before the council acts.
