Because the file indicated the owner on record (Billy Lard) is deceased and the city needs to verify living interested parties, the hearing officer continued the matter to the next OTA hearing to allow staff to complete an obituary/search for heirs and to republish notices as needed. The hearing officer said staff would perform a records/obituary search and bring results to the next docket.
No demolition order was immediately executed at this session pending the outreach and verification effort.
