Following a closed executive session on non-elected personnel, the Oakley City Council voted unanimously to give an employee hired April 1, 2024, a two-step increase on the city pay scale.

The closed session lasted 10 minutes and included council, the mayor and the city administrator. No action was taken during executive session itself; the subsequent public motion authorized the pay adjustment.

Lisa moved to approve the two-step increase; Steve seconded the motion. The council voted unanimously.

Staff will implement the pay adjustment through payroll and record the personnel action in the employee file.
