City staff presented an inventory of major development projects under review, permitted and under construction in Titusville during a July 22 special presentations meeting.
The list of projects under review included a new 7‑Eleven convenience store with gas pumps at the southwest corner of Derry Road and U.S. 1, a 2,720‑square‑foot Hendricks Eye Care medical office at 300 Cheney Highway, the Verona Villages A and E subdivision (described in the presentation as “330 single‑family homes and 126 townhomes”), two five‑unit buildings planned for 1600 Garden Street, and an amenity center at Shores Deletion Drive.
Staff said plans had been approved or site permits issued for a 96,000‑square‑foot assisted living facility on Silver Star Road, a Mavis Tire and Brake retail store in St. Johns Plaza on Garden Street, a 44‑unit Tropic Apartments complex at South Singleton Avenue and Tropic Street, several small apartment projects on Fox Lake Road and South Street, a new airport tower at Space Coast Regional Airport, a 6,000‑square‑foot addition to Futuramic Manufacturing at 2210 Garden Street, Hydrosaurus Brewery at 502 Josephine Street, a Heartland Dental office at 2035 Chaney Highway, 36 Palmetto Ridge condominiums at 915 Sprout Lane, and a 12,000‑square‑foot hotel on Helen Hauser Boulevard.
Staff also reported active construction on a number of projects, including 91 Odyssey Ridge townhomes along Sisson Road, the Pier 13 coffee shop and roasting facility (two locations referenced), the first phase of the Titusville Resort and Destination at 3550 South Washington Avenue, a new 620,000‑square‑foot Lockheed Martin manufacturing and warehouse building at 1103 John Glenn Boulevard, a new Chase Bank at 2035 Cheney Highway, Millwright Apartments (two phases totaling 488 multifamily units) on Columbia Boulevard, the Falcon’s Roost 28‑lot subdivision on Knox McRae Drive, an event hangar for the Valiant Air Command at Space Coast Regional Airport, BP gas station site improvements on Garden Street, a 51,000‑square‑foot TRG self‑storage building with covered RV storage at 3960 South Street, and Huntington Park, an 86‑lot single‑family subdivision along South Park Avenue.
The presentation did not include council action on any of the projects; staff presented current statuses and permit activity. No formal votes or approvals were taken during the special presentations meeting.
