The Elkhart City Park Board approved claims of $41,118.30 and acknowledged a $2,500 sponsorship from the Woosmere Foundation for the city's Art Walk at its June 2025 meeting.

During public input a board member said they had received “tremendous feedback” from a downtown business owner about the Art Walk’s return and offered to serve as a liaison between businesses and the board. A staff member then acknowledged receipt of $2,500 from the Woosmere Foundation as the primary sponsor for the walk and noted the sponsor was enthusiastic.

Board members moved and seconded approval of the claims and financial reports and the motions carried. The board also approved the meeting agenda and the minutes from the prior meeting during the session.

No grants were reported for the past period during the meeting, and the board did not provide further detail on how the claims total breaks down in the public discussion.
