The committee reviewed several other properties and interim actions.
Cross Street: Staff reported a house unoccupied since a flood with delinquent taxes and an open rear that neighbors say remains problematically accessible. The committee directed staff to send a notice with a 10-day compliance period and place the item on the next agenda if the owner does not respond.
Sanfelhaja Street: The owner responded quickly after receiving a letter and agreed to begin work; staff will monitor compliance and report progress.
West Morgan Street (near the co-op): Staff said the owner is maintaining the yard, has removed several vehicles and is in contact; committee members agreed to allow more time for the owner to continue progress.
710 East Washington / American Legion shed and other outbuildings: Staff acknowledged outstanding complaints about a shed behind the American Legion and a half-built shed on Black Street; these items remain on staff’s to-do list for inspection and follow-up.
In each case the committee asked staff to document contacts and return with either proof of compliance or documentation (certified mail or other service) that would support further enforcement steps in future meetings.
Ending: Staff will bring updates and copies of letters sent to the next meeting and will monitor compliance in the interim.
