Eric Trotter, planning, said the plan commission gave preliminary approval in August and the plat committee approved the final design in October; staff reported the project addressed all technical review comments. The board accepted the new streets' right of way and a 25-foot dedication for Homer Avenue. Trotter described the location as between Hively and Middlebury Street (near Mishawaka Road).
A board member asked whether the new superintendent would be involved; staff deferred that operational question for later. The motion to accept the dedication was approved by voice vote.
