The Board of Public Works ratified multiple partial payments tied to State Revolving Fund (SRF) loans for Oakland Avenue wastewater projects during its July 9 meeting.
The board approved a partial payment of $10,583 to American Structurepoint from SRF loan WW22162005 for professional services on the Oakland Avenue Harrison Street design. It also ratified payment number 24 for $120,970 to C&N Excavating from SRF loan DW222321 for construction on the Oakland Avenue force main phase A project. Jeff (speaker identified as engineering) reported construction was moving along "fine" with "no significant issues to report," and described the force main connection to the tank under construction in Indiana Avenue.
Board members noted SRF payments must be taken as separate board actions when funds are not otherwise appropriated; the board approved the items by voice vote.
The board also accepted the Water Utility monthly report for June 2025 and the Wastewater Utility monthly report for May 2025 and was told there were no unusual items in the reports. Usage for the water utility was reported as down.
All SRF-related motions were approved by voice vote; no roll-call tallies were recorded in the public meeting minutes for these items.
