Pool and shelter reports: June revenue, equipment replacement and planned closures

"So for the month of June, the pool brought in $69,000. When I ran the whole report today, we're about 93,000 since we've been open," Ashley said. She provided a printed pool report and a comparative folder showing 2024 numbers for budget planning.
Staff replaced the large stand-up freezer at the pool house early in the summer after repeated failures; Ashley reported the replacement cost at about $7,000 and said repeated service calls added to total repair expenses. She said the current refrigerator is marginal and likely will need replacement either at the end of the season or next year.
Ashley reported an identified leak under the dive well. "We just know it's there. We don't know exactly what extent it is yet, and we won't know until we drain the pool," she said. The pool is scheduled to close on Aug. 3; the splash pad will remain open through Labor Day. Staff plan to drain the pool to inspect and repair the dive-well leak during the off-season.
The shelter rental packet covers the full month of June; Stacy handled a manual data transition between reservation systems, which made the packet large. The packet included each shelter rental and a pool sales report showing what items sold and revenue by item. Staff noted swim lessons, adult swims (about 20 attendees for the first adult swim), a movie night that required rescheduling because of storms, and events planned for July (concerts, Christmas in July at the pool and an end-of-summer bash on Aug. 9).
