Williams certified the three responders as timely and said the sealed packages would be submitted to city staff for further review. Attorney Molina said the RFQ calls for a target selection date of Aug. 5 and that, if an applicant is selected, the goal is to have a negotiated contract within 15 days after selection. Council members and counsel did not award a contract at the meeting; the action was a formal opening and certification of received RFQs to begin the city’s review and selection process.
