TIPP CITY, Ohio — The Tipp City Council adopted a resolution authorizing the city's employer contribution to employees' health savings accounts for the 2025–26 renewal period, continuing a contribution schedule in place since 2012.
City staff explained the city has provided employer contributions to employees enrolled in the city's high‑deductible health savings account arrangement since February 2012. Staff said the city previously contributed $3,000 annually for family coverage and $1,100 for single coverage, and the resolution authorizes the same contribution amounts for the upcoming renewal period.
The resolution was sponsored and seconded and adopted after a public hearing with no speakers. Council member votes were recorded in the roll call and the resolution passed as Resolution 20225.
When asked for clarification by a council member, city staff confirmed the resolution applies to the 2025–26 enrollment period. Council did not modify the contribution amounts during the meeting.
