Board unanimously approves superintendent’s evaluation; members praise leadership

The Racine Unified School District Board of Education on July 21 unanimously approved the superintendent’s evaluation following public remarks from board members thanking Superintendent Gajewski for his leadership over the past year.
Board members publicly praised Gajewski for improving staff morale, advancing the referendum process and contributing to increases in student achievement and enrollment. Board member Mister Coe (unable to attend) submitted a written statement saying staff "are rejuvenated, they are relaxed, and they feel they have a real leader in you." Board members who spoke echoed those sentiments and encouraged Gajewski to maintain priority on health and longevity in the role.
A motion to approve the superintendent evaluation passed 7–0.
