Board approves master agreement with Allstate Centimeters for shovel‑ready repairs; task orders required for work

The Madison County School Board approved a master services agreement with Allstate Centimeters that the superintendent and facilities staff said will allow the district to issue task orders for individual repair or mitigation projects. Facilities manager Michael Rutherford told the board the agreement contains no project-specific scope or money at this stage; instead, each repair would require a task order (an exhibit A) listing time and cost that the board would separately approve. Rutherford gave examples including gutter repairs at the high school and site grading at Madison Central and said site grading at Central is the district’s top priority for the contract work list. Board counsel and the superintendent clarified that the action approved the agreement only and that procurement rules under Florida statute require individual scopes and budgets be returned to the board for separate approval. Board member Miss Hagen moved to approve the agreement and Miss Gibson seconded; trustees discussed wanting time to review task orders before voting on any particular project. No specific projects or dollar amounts were authorized by the vote; the board asked staff to prioritize Central’s drainage/site-prep scope when those task orders are prepared for later approval.
