Finally, the council appointed AJ Ganneson to the Planning Commission for a three-year term ending Dec. 31, 2027; Councilmember Amer made the motion and Deputy Mayor Raikes seconded. Councilmembers referenced endorsements from the outgoing planning commission chair and thanked a departing commissioner (Kente) for prior service. The motion passed by voice vote.
