Chief/Police staff said last year the event required one officer and had no incidents; village officers recommended message boards and advance business/resident notification.Public works and police asked the organizer to notify affected businesses and residents along West Cottage Grove Road because outside lane closures will affect driveway access and commerce. The board voted to approve the permit with the conditions included in staff comments and local public‑safety coordination.
